Essex introduces a new line of dual technology, OEM compatible readers and stand alone access controllers which combine HID iCLASS® with an Essex 12 Pad 3x4 Stainless Steel Keypad.  With no moving parts to fail or wear out, these dual technology readers are unsurpassed in their ability to tolerate any environment (heat, rain, snow or ice - up to 3/8").   New Laser marked Keypad graphics withstands wear from high use and harsh environments (i.e. bleach, JA Jetfuel).

iSMART combines an Essex Stainless Steel, piezoelectric Keypad Reader with HID 13.56MHz iCLASS.  Compatible with most access control panels, iSMART provides a dual method of identification with an enhanced level of security.
