Introducing Hand-E-Tap, the first
programmable ADA compliant
Handicap Button.
This heavy duty, vandal resistant, piezoelectric switch is designed for
all users including the sight, hearing or physically impaired to operate in a variety of
high use or harsh, interior or exterior
commercial environments.
Soft Touch, Billion Cycle
Switch Technology™ allows the switch to be operated with a light touch on
any area of the switch or with a gloved hand, elbow or cane.
Hand-E-Tap features a programmable output
which can be set for either toggle On/Off
operation or with an adjustable timed output from
1 to 60 seconds. Additional options include programmable audio and LED
control to provide switch activation
feedback to the user. With 1 SPDT Relay (Rated 10A at 30VDC) Hand-E-Tap can
be used to control an automatic door, electric lock/strike or magnetic
lock. It can also be used as a programmable switch in toggle mode to
control an electrical device. All stainless steel construction and circuit assembly
encapsulation provide for a weatherproof and long life vandal resistant
switch. Laser marked graphics create an extremely durable mark which
can be customized with text or symbols. Available with a Stainless Steel, Black or
Brass Finished Bezel. Custom corporate logo also available.

Important Note:
Due to the electrical design,
Hand-E-Tap will
not operate with <11VDC. Backup power (i.e. UPS) is required for
operation during a power interruption. Some local building or fire
safety regulations may limit the use of electronic buttons. Consult with
local officials prior to installing electronic buttons
for egress applications. |
