K1 Series - PC Programmable Stand Alone Access Control

Introducing the Essex K1 Series with Encoded Relay Module(ERM). This extremely versatile access control system is easy to program from the keypad or Essex EZ Key™ PC Programmable Software(included with the ERM). The K1 Series provides a migration path from a multiple user stand alone access control system to an OEM compatible Keypad reader. The K1 Series with Encoded Relay Module provides:

Encoded Relay Module for PC Programming

The K1 Series provides 3 Open Collector outputs. In order for these outputs to trigger an electrified lock or other auxiliary device, they must be tied to either external relays or an optional Essex Encoded Relay Module (Part No. ERM-3). In addition to providing the features listed above, the Encoded Relay Module includes:
