KE-1700 Series Overview

The KE-1700 Series is our newest Keyless Entry® system for larger vehicle applications.  Utilizing Essex proprietary Billion Cycle Switch Technology™, the KE-1700 Series Keypad is designed to provide years of trouble free Keyless convenience.

How does it work?  Simply enter your personalized 3 to 8 digit access code at the Keypad to unlock the door (a 5 channel, dual remote key fob option is also available).  After a valid code is entered, trailing digits can be used to unlock cargo bays, vehicle storage compartments or operate any electrically controlled auxiliary device*. 

Want to give temporary or permanent access to a family member, friend or employee?  In addition to the 1 Master Code, up to 5 User codes can be easily programmed from the keypad.  Total Control at your fingertips...
 
Why choose an Essex KE-1700 Series over a standard remote key fob system?  There are several advantages to using a keypad based access control system versus a key or remote key fob based system.

No more waiting for roadside assistance because of keys or remote key fobs locked inside of your vehicle.   The KE-1700 Series eliminates the possibility of being lock out.

No need to carry keys with you everywhere you go.   With the KE-1700 Series, you can hide your keys anywhere in the secured vehicle.  This gives you the freedom to go to the beach, to play golf or go anywhere without having to carry keys.

The KE-1701:
A rugged, one piece integrated Keyless Entry system which combines a solid state, illuminated Keypad and controller in a single package. 

 

The KE-1704:
Want to add a remote keyless entry option? The KE-1704 includes a KE-1701 integrated keypad and a 5 channel, dual remote keyless entry system.
