K-Prox: Professional grade, dual technology, stand alone access control. Unaffected by virtually any environment, (heat, rain, snow, ice – up to ⅜“), K-Prox combines an Essex 12 Pad 3x4 Keypad with HID 125 kHz proximity. Easily programmable through the Keypad, K-Prox can also be programmed with Essex EZKey™ PC Programmable software included with an optional encoded relay module (part no. ERM-3).

Encoded Relay Module for PC Programming

K-Prox controller provides 3 Open Collector outputs. In order for these outputs to trigger an electrified lock or other auxiliary device, they must be tied to either external relays or an optional Essex Encoded Relay Module (Part No. ERM-3). In addition to providing the features listed above, the Encoded Relay Module includes:
