K-Smart combines an Essex 12 Pad 3x4 Keypad with HID 13.56 MHz
smart card technology.
Easily programmable through the Keypad, K-Smart can also
be programmed via Essex EZKey™ PC Programmable software
included with an optional encoded relay module (ERM-3).

mechanical, membrane or conductive rubber Keypads fail after 5 to 10
million cycles at best. Keypads built with Essex piezoelectric
technology have been tested more than 1 Billion cycles without
failure. In addition, Essex Keypads are unaffected by extreme
