Essex Electronics offers an affordable, stand alone, access control system for elevators. The KE-1900 has both unequaled Essex reliability and complete event recording. One system is all that's required to control up to 24 floors for a group of 1 to 4 elevators. The tandem system can control up 48 floors for a group of up to 8 elevators. The KE-1900 accepts up to 4,000 PIN codes which allow complete flexibility in granting or restricting floor access for each user. An event printer with the KE-1900 provides audit trail transactions in two selectable report forms. The system is optionally configured for keypad, proximity reader or card swipe input.

The KE-1900 is easy to install and manage. It is designed for easy connection by an elevator technician to almost any elevator system.  All major elevator contractors are among our customers. Adding, deleting and changing code assignments is easily accomplished from a single keypad with a scrolling LCD help menu.

Like other Essex Electronics Elevator Keyless Entry^® access control systems, the KE-1900 is CSA listed and conforms to the ANSI A17 code for elevators.
